The retro appeal is definitely there, but honestly, at that age you need to budget properly for maintenance costs. I'd recommend setting aside at least £1,500 per year for unexpected repairs. Suspension components and brake work can get expensive on these older models.

Check the brake fluid condition thoroughly – these can develop moisture issues. Also inspect the undercarriage for rust, particularly around the wheel arches and sills.
