This is smart politics. Canada needs to show it's willing to adapt for major industries. Losing automotive manufacturing to the US or Mexico would be devastating for our economy.

The automotive industry is shifting toward EV production. Whatever facility Stellantis builds in Brampton needs to be positioned for electric vehicle manufacturing, not just traditional vehicles.
