The dealer markups last year basically wiped out the credit benefit anyway. Some dealers were charging $10k-$15k over MSRP, which completely negated any incentive savings. It was wild.

The credit exposed automakers' pricing too. When you remove that $7,500, suddenly EVs look a lot less competitive on price. It masked the real cost problem rather than solving it.

Honestly, I disagree with the hype around this model. GMC keeps raising prices but I'm not seeing enough value compared to Japanese competitors. The warranty is shorter too, which worries me about long-term ownership costs.

The infotainment looks nice but I've had issues with GMC's software stability in the past. Hopefully they fixed those glitches, but I'll wait for long-term reliability data before committing.
