Finally someone making a car that doesn't need 500 HP to be fun. The Lotus Elise philosophy has always been about efficiency and precision. $110K seems steep, but if you're comparing it to other new sports cars in that range, the engineering here is probably more thoughtful.

Sofia makes a good point. Service infrastructure matters. That said, if you're buying this car, you probably have resources to handle specialty maintenance or transport it to a qualified shop. It's the trade-off for owning something truly different.
